Brendan and Isabelle (Izzy) met in September 2023. They both graduated from Biola University - Brendan in 2023, with a Bio-Chem degree, & Izzy in 2025 with an English degree. Just as Brendan was finishing up his last semester of his senior year, the two met by chance at Heritage Cafe, Izzy’s favorite study spot on campus. They instantly bonded over their shared interest in video games and love of adorable cats. A few weeks later, he asked her on their first date. Immediately, they felt comfortable and safe to be their weird wacky selves with each other, free from judgment. Every time they saw each other, they felt full of joy and purpose, and quickly fell madly in love. Life changed for the better and was now exactly how it was meant to be lived. Their deep faith in Jesus confirmed that God was working wonderful miracles in their lives. Brendan moved back to Tennessee in May of 2024, and they have had a long-distance relationship since then, with visits every few months. Brendan proposed on Isabelle's 23rd birthday on May 7th, 2025 - and she said, "YES!" They can't wait to get married in October and finally live together. They will be living in Nashville, TN, and are both planning on furthering their education. We are all EXTREMELY THANKFUL for your love & support of these two incredible young adults!
